Frankie Ann Cox age 44 was the daughter of my second great grandparents John Tivis Cox and Nancy Ann Pierce.  As such, Frankie was the sister of my great grandfather George Jackson Cox.  At the time of the 1910 census, Frankie was the widow of Joseph/Joel R. Waits.

Zola or Zorah Waits age 22 was the daughter of the aforementioned Joseph/Joel R. Waits and Frankie Ann Cox.  Therefore, Frankie herself should have been listed as mother-in-law rather than as mother.

Zola married John W. Holbert age 29 about 1905.  However, their marriage record has not yet been located and I don't know if they were married in Tennessee or in Texas.  John was the son of William R. Holbert and Nancy W. Gobble.
