Pleasant B. Bryan was the son of William G. Bryan and Lucinda (Lucy) Cate. As such, he was the double first cousin of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan. Pleasant was born in Tennessee. It appears that the enumerator was copying down Texas as the birth place for all the members of the previous family on the same page, and simply copied down "Texas" one time too many. |
