I do not know if this Christian Peters is connected to my Peters family of Anderson County, Tennessee.  Tobias Peters Sr. and Henry Peters Sr. moved from Greenbrier County, Virginia to Anderson County, Tennessee in 1797.  Monroe County, Virginia was created from Greenbrier County, Virginia in 1798.  I believe that Tobias and Henry Peters lived in that part of Greenbrier County that became Monroe County.

I believe that this Christian Peters was the son of John Jacob Peters and Elizabeth, and was born 16 Oct 1760 in Rockingham County, Virginia.  If so, his wife was Anna Katherine Fudge.

Christian Peters and Anna Katherine Fudge had a son named Conrad Peters, which lends additional weight to the possibility that these Peters were descended from John Jacob Peters and Elizabeth.  If this is the correct family, the female age 16-25 was Clara Snidow.  Christian Peters and Clara Snidow were married 20 Jul 1809 in Giles County, Virginia.  The date seems to work.  Giles County is adjacent to Monroe County.  Indeed, the Giles County and Monroe County line forms the Virginia and West Virginia state line in modern times.  Conrad Peters was born about 1786.
