Gene Autry Miller age 12 was the son of Gilbert Allen Miller and Ella Lee Hamblen age 38. Gilbert and Ella married on 26 December 1928 in Montgomery County, Virginia and they were divorced on 16 Nov 1944 in Montgomery County, Virginia. Gene married Lena Mae Peters on 9 August 1975 in Knox County, Tennessee. Lena was the daughter of William Birchell (Birchell) Peters and Anna Jo (Jo) Hackworth and the granddaughter of my great grandparents Alva Edward (Alvy) Peters and Sallie Jane Cole. As such, Uncle Birchell was the brother of my grandfather Ernest Lester (Lester) Peters Sr. |
