The informant was Elmer Otto Bryan, son of William Allen (Will) BryanWill's tombstone says that he was born on 8 Sep 1849, and census data persuade me that the tombstone is correct and that the death certificate is incorrect. . He was buried in the Bryan-Drinnen-Cate Cemetery.  I don't know if the Cates X Roads designation on the death certificate was intended to be the name of the cemetery where he was buried, or if it was intended to be the name of the community where he was buried.  Cates X Roads was probably the former name of the cemetery, as the undertaker's address was Kodak, and Cates Cross Roads is the former name of the community now called Kodak.
