1812 Muster Role, Captain William King's Company

(sent to me by Jane Sherman)

From TN Soldiers in the War of 1812, Vol. 1, Pub by The TN Society USDaus of 1812, 1947, p. 37-8.

Capt Wm King's Co:
Muster Roll of co. of Drafted Militia under ...Capt Wm King in a Reg of TN Militia commanded by Col. Ewin Allison in the service of the US fm 6th day of Jan 1814 to 18 May inclusive:

I have not identified any of these soldiers as being from any of my families.  Elijah Cross was possibly the son of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy.  Another possibility is that Elijah might have been the nephew of William the drummer via William's brother Elijah.  Joseph Cross was possibly the nephew of William the drummer via William's brother Abraham.

I definitely do not recognize the Peters, the Coxes, or the Brays as being any of mine.
