Arthur C. Peters Civil War Record

Arthur C. Peters was the son of Henry Peters Jr. and Urana Prudence (Uraney or Raney) Scarbrough.  As such, he was the first cousin of Zipporah Peters, Jane Peters, and John W. Peters, each of whom was one of my third great grandparents (three different Peters lines).

Arthur C. Peters died in the Civil War, but he died of fever at home, rather than dying in battle or of disease in camp.
