My Favorite Movies

These are not necessarily the movies I would consider to be the best movies.  They are simply the movies that I like the best.  They are pretty much in order, although if I were to "ungroup" them, then some of the ordering might change slightly.  Good Will Hunting is definitely first.

 1. Good Will Hunting; Dead Poets Society; A Beautiful Mind; October Sky
 2. The original Star Wars trilogy: Star Wars (now called A New Hope),
    The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi
 3. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
 4. It's a Wonderful Life; An Unfinished Life
 5. Casablanca
 6. Field of Dreams; Dances with Wolves
 7. M*A*S*H (the movie, not the TV Show); Catch-22; Cold Mountain; Saving Private Ryan;
    Sergeant York
 8. Jason Bourne trilogy: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum
 9. Coal Miners Daughter; Walk the Line; Songcatcher
10. An Affair to Remember; Sleepless in Seattle; 50 First Dates; The Cutting Edge;
    Pride and Prejudice (2005 with Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen, although
                         the BBC mini-series with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth
                         is even better)
    The Shop Around The Corner; In the Good Old Summertime; You've Got Mail;
    The American President; Jerry Maguire;
    The Thomas Crown Affair (1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo)
11. Chocolat; Pleasantville; The Full Monty; Brassed Off;
    The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain;
    The Truth About Cats and Dogs; Forest Gump; Fried Green Tomatoes;
    The Princess Bride
12. 2001: A Space Odyssey; Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (the one with the whales);
    Contact; The Wizard of Oz
