• John Anderson Franklin Cox was the son of my great grandparents George Jackson Cox and Clarissa Loretta (Retta or Rett) Nichols.  As such, Uncle John was the brother of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox.
• Mary Jane Slaton, wife of Uncle John Cox, was the daughter of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the granddaughter of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and Aunt Mary was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
• Minnie Ann Cox, wife of Uncle Port Slaton, was the daughter of my great grandparents George Jackson Cox and Clarissa Loretta (Retta or Rett) Nichols.  As such, Aunt Minnie was the sister of my grandmother Ruby Priscilla Cox.
• Joseph Porter (Port) Slaton was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the grandson of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and Uncle Port was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
• Walker Perry (Walk) Slaton was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the grandson of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and Walk Slaton was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.  Walk Slaton moved to Oklahoma, and my grandfather Emmert Oral Bryan spent several summers working on Walk Slaton's farm in Oklahoma, sending his wages home to support his widowed mother and his younger sisters.

• Martha Paralee (Paralee or Parlee) Slaton, wife of Claude McSpadden, was the daughter of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the granddaughter of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and Parlee Slaton was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
• William Moses Slaton was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the grandson of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and William Slaton was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
• Mary Roberta Strain, wife of John Thomas Slaton, was the daughter of Robert Steward Strain and Linnie Morinda Bruner.
• John Thomas Slaton was the son of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the grandson of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and John Slaton was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
• Sarah Frances (Sallie) Slaton, wife of Wiley Porter Ingle Sr., was the daughter of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the granddaughter of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and Sallie Slaton was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
• Amanda Melzina (Mandy) Slaton, wife of Silas Amberson Bryan, was the daughter of Francis Marion (Frank) Slaton and Mary Anne Moore, and the granddaughter of my third great grandparents Thomas Fielden (Tom) Slaton and Rebecca Frances George.  As such, Frank Slaton was the brother of my second great grandmother Susan A. Slaton, and Aunt Mandy was the first cousin of my great grandmother Nancy Virginia (Nannie) Harrison.
