Dicy's first husband was Jacob England, and Jacob and Dicy were my third great grandparents. I am descended through their daughter Margaret Ann (Maggie) England who married Alexander L. (Alex) Williamson. Maggie and Alex were my second great grandparents.

The children of Calvin Giles and Dicy Smith were half brothers and sisters of Maggie England. So I'm related to all of the Giles children, and I have chosen to research them.
