Davis, Mabel Bray - age 94, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, July 19, 1999. Member of Fifth Ave. Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, William F. Davis, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, William F. "Jack" and Hazelle L. Davis; parents, George S. and Lou Bray; 1 brother and 1 sister. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Joyce Davis, James D. and Arbra Davis; daughter, Nancye Davis; special daughter, Linda Baker; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 1999 at Berry Chapel with Rev. Jeff Elliott and Greg Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Greg Davis, Randall Garrison, James D. Davis II, Jeff DeLaney, Kelley Heath, and Larry Moses. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 1999 at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
