311. Charles Lee (Charlie) Bray^{123,127,238,239,240,241,242}. Birth: 9 February 1891, Knox County, Tennessee.^{238,239,240,243} He was known as in the family as Uncle Charlie Bray. He lived in Philadelphia, Tennessee and according to Ruth Bryan there was a big creek behind his house. He was born Charles Lee Green. However, his parents were divorced and he took his mother's maiden name. There is an oral family tradition that he was raised by his maternal grandparents Joe and Salina Bray, but he appeared in the 1900 census living with his mother and his stepfather, and his name in the 1900 census was Charles Green. Starting with the 1910 census, all other records list his name as Charles Lee Bray.
