Bray, Buford T. - 83 of Knoxville, passed away Friday May 24, 2002 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. A WW II Army veteran. Survived by wife, Fretta Bray; daughters and sons in law, Evelyn and Mark Bounds, Diana and Wilbert Carmichael all of Knoxville; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hancock of Knoxville, Viola Thackston of Fla. Family and friends will meet at Stoney Point Cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Monday for a 10 a.m. graveside service with Rev. Dean Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday 6:30-8 p.m. at Fielden Funeral Home, New Market.
