Floyd Charles Bryan, age 74, of Kodak, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Charlie T. and Frances Lyle Bryan. He was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Magnavox with 36 years service. He was preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Tipton and brother-in-law, Lawson Matthews. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Joseph Berrier of Kodak; son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Ann Bryan of Dandridge; son, Michael Bryan of Kodak; grandchildren, Brittany, Haley, and Mary Jo Berrier, Brianna Bryan, Kasey Bryan and Patty Loveday; great-granddaughter, Madison Loveday; brothers and sisters, Ray (Ann) Bryan, Tommy (Sue) Bryan, Bobby Matthews, Joyce (Paul) Moore, Betty (John) French and brother-in-law, Bill Tipton. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19 at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Roy A. Berrier and Rev. Carl Bryan conducting the services. Interment graveside services were held Sunday, April 20 in Bryan-Cate-Drinnon Cemetery with Rev. Tony French and Rev. Sam Bryan conducting the services. The family received friends Saturday prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Bryan-Cate-Drinnon Cemetery, 1751 Fain Cemetery Road, Dandridge, TN 37725. Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge, was in charge of arrangements.
