Tipton, Yvonne - of Kodak, TN, went home to be with Jesus on February 6, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a long time member of Deep Springs Baptist Church and a life long member of the Kodak community. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charlie and Frances Bryan; brother-in-law, Lawson Matthews; and nephew, Thomas Matthews. She is survived by: her loving husband, Bill Tipton;daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Charlie Leatherwood; grandchildren, Hilary and Andrew Alexander and Caleb and Alex Leatherwood;sister, Bobbie Matthews; sisters and brothersin-law, Joyce and Paul Moore and Betty and John French; brother, Floyd Bryan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Ann Bryan and Tommy and Sue Bryan; and many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sledge and Rev. Jerry DeZearn officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2007 at Fain Cemetery with nephews, Rev. Tony French and Rev. Sam Bryan conducting the graveside service.
