Bryan, Elmer Otto - age 92, died 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home, Rt. 2, Kodak. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Hazel Huffaker Bryan; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruth Newman, Powell and Mrs. Mildred Chesney, Staw Plains; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday Oak Grove Methodist Church, Rev. Ralph Cline, Rev. Don Ferguson, Rev. Earl Willis officiating. The body will lie in state 1 hour before services, interment in church cemetery. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Atchley's, Sevierville.

Elmer Otto Bryan and Maude I. Atchley Marriage: about 1911,.⁴⁵⁰ Archie Campbell furnished the entertainment at their fiftieth wedding anniversary, and of course played "Wildwood Flower". (E-mail from William (Jack) McCampbell. Archie Campbell was a Knoxville area radio star who later starred at the Grand Ole Opry and on the Hee-Haw television show.) Their courthouse marriage record has not been found in Knox County, Jefferson County, or Sevier County. They must have been married somewhere else.
