Betty Ousley Williams, went to Heaven at sunrise Easter morning, April 5, 2015, ending her battle with ALS. Charter member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She served as a substitute teacher at Halls Middle School for over 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, Roy G. and Dottie Davis Ousley; infant sister, Phyllis Ousley. Survived by husband, David A. Williams; sons, Dr. Tim A. Williams, DVM, and Randy Williams; grandchildren, Dalton Williams, Madison Williams, and Betty “Ousley” Williams; sisters, Rosemary Ousley Patton, Sue Ousley Houston, and Wanda Ousley (Larry) Brantley; several nieces and nephews; as well as many other loved ones and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Building fund. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Rev. Charla Sherbakoff and Rev. John Ousley officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m., Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for 1:00 p.m. interment.
