Death: 14 March 1876, age 39, Ravanna, Mercer County, Missouri.

Burial: at Weesner Cemetery Ravanna, Mercer County, Missouri.

Eliza Jane Bryan and Jesse Preston Marriage: about 1860,. The identification of Eliza's husband as Jesse Preston is from the family's 1870 census entry where Eliza's mother Mary J. (Polly) Webb was living with the family as an apparent mother-in-law. However, a courthouse marriage record cannot be located for Jesse Preston and Eliza Jane Bryan. Eliza died in 1876, and Jesse Preston was enumerated as a widower in the 1880 census. However, he was enumerated with Truelove and Mary Sparks as father-in-law and mother-in-law, so something doesn't seem quite right.
