Dulling, James Alfred (Jim) - 64 of Kodak, born to John William and Ida Mae Lewallen Dulling on March 11, 1940 in Barbourville, Knox County, KY, died on March 10, 2005. He moved to Jellico, TN at an early age, joined the Navy at age 18, and served his country for four years. He retired in July 2000 after 30 years of service from Yale Security, Lenoir City, TN, where he had been Production Control Manager. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Loudon, TN and attended Thorn Grove Baptist Church, Strawberry Plains, TN. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Deborah Lynn parents, John William and Ida Mae Lewallen Dulling brothers, John William, Warren Finley, Wallace, Wayne, and Gary Dulling sister, Margaret Carole Baker an infant brother. Survivors: wife, Margaret Snyder Dulling of the home daughter and son-in-law, Janice Renee and Greg Brewster of Kodak son and daughter-in-law, James Warren and Amy Dulling of Rockwood, TN grandchildren, Nathan Brewster, Christy Brewster, and Zachary Dulling mother of his children, Janice Akins brother, Joseph (Joe) Dulling of Cookeville, TN sisters, Jean Audell Cox of Pontiac, IL, and Phyllis Head of Erlanger, KY brother-in-law, Bobby Baker of Georgetown, OH several nieces and nephews and his extended family from Jellico, TN, with whom he grew up. Special thanks to University of Tennessee Medical Center, especially the nurses on 7 East, Debbie, Christine, Kathy, and Jada U.T. Home Health Care, especially Rita and Bobbie U.T. Special Care, especially Carolyn and Sue. Thanks to special sitter, Betty Ward. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 14 at Stevens Mortuary to go in procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens, Strawberry Plains, for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers: Paul Underwood, Arvil Fortenberry, Kenneth Simpson, Arless Merritt, Oliver Russell, Eugene Ketner. Honorary pallbearers: Glen McGee, Taylor Brooks, Bob Bridges, Bud Defoe, Dean Cox, Jim Hyde, Earl Clark, Gene Kirk, Bill Haggard, Pat Forester, and Jimmy Waddell. Full military honors provided by East Tennessee Veteran Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronnie White and Rev. Tim Tatum officiating.
