You are bidding on an old tax receipt from the 116th Regiment in Rockingham Co. Va. It is for the Peter Kontz property, it looks to be 64&1/2 cents, dated Feb. 23rd 1816. The collector appears to have been Thos. Bryan Deputy for the 8th collection district of Va. It has been folded and shows sign where a rusted paper clip hekd it together. This item appears to be old and authentic, I know very little about this type of stuff so if you have any questions please email before bidding. Buyer to pay 2.50 mailing and insurance.
