27. Enoch George Bryan Sr.^31,32. Birth: about 1800, [Rockingham County], Virginia.

He is not proven as the son of Cornelius Bryan Sr., but it seems very likely. Enoch was born in Virginia. Enoch was married in Cornelius Bryan Sr.'s home county of Rockingham County, Virginia. Enoch had a sons named Cornelius and Jacob, and Cornelius Bryan Sr. had a son named Jacob. After he left Virginia, Enoch lived very close to Cornelius Bryan Sr.'s daughter Mary in Fairfield County, Ohio. And only six of nine males household of Cornelius Bryan Sr. in the 1820 census are otherwise accounted for. But if Enoch was not the son of Cornelius Bryan Sr., another possibility would be that Enoch was the nephew of Cornelius Bryan Sr. (RGB)
