Oklethorpe, Walker County, Georgia. May Crow was a talented, artistic person and was active in church and garden club work. Margaret and Larry Stanfield contribute much to the civic life of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. An example is their participation in the bicentennial observations there. From Nancy Urban: My father's Aunt May adopted me and became my "Nannie". I had no grandmother and shewas a wonderful grandmother to me. As a small child, I would spend the night at her house. I can remember her tucking me in for the night and awakening to see sunbeams dancing across the ceiling. I have many pictures taken at her house.
