120. Thomas C. Bryan Jr.3,4,44,46,47,150,151,152,153. Birth: 1836, Dumplin Valley, Sevier County, Tennessee.46,47

Census: 1840, Sevier County, Tennessee, Age 05-09, enumerated Household of his father Thomas C. Bryan Sr.

Census: 1850, Sevier County, Tennessee,47 Thomas 14 m w TN attended school, enumerated Household of his father Thomas C. Bryan Sr.

Census: 1860, Sevier County, Tennessee,46 Thomas 24 m w farm hand TN, enumerated Household of his father Thomas C. Bryan Sr.

Death: about September 1864, age 28, Sevier County, Tennessee.44,152,153 The family bible of his brother Robert Reedy Bryan states that Thomas died in 1864. From the Sevier County settlement book we can conclude that Thomas prior to 5 Oct 1864, but it is not possible to be much more precise than that. Thomas's younger son William was born in May 1864 and his older son Charles was born in 1865. The earliest that Charles could have been born was about May 1865, so Thomas was probably still living in about Aug 1864. The best guess would therefore be that he died about Sep 1864.

His estate was settled between 10 September 1864 and 5 October 1864 in Sevier County, Tennessee.152 Many pages in the Sevier County settlement book are not dated. p.269 contains an entry for a totally unrelated person that was dated 10 Sep 1864. p.277 contains an entry for a totally unrelated person that was dated 5 Oct 1864.
