M. came to Wise County with Pleas Bryan(t), who settled in the valley near Sand Hill.". R. M. Collins had come to Texas with a man named John Lane. Then on pp 65 (that same book) Pleasant Bryan is listed as a County Commissioner in Wise County in 1860.

Pleasant B. Bryan and Mary M. (Polly) Rucker Marriage: 18 September 1841, McMinn County, Tennessee. Ages of the children were taken from the 1850 census by Elizabeth Cate Manly.

By 1854 Pleasant and Mary R. Bryan had gone to Smith County, Texas. T.S. Denison was the administrator of P.B. Bryan's will, 1860.
