Harry R. Sleutel, Vancouver. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Mill Plain United Methodist Church for Harry R. Sleutel, who died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 73. Mr. Sleutel, who worked for Blue Bird Moving and Storage, was born July 4, 1930, in Harrisburg, Ore. He lived in Clark County 30 years. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Patsy, at home; four daughters, Vonda Roberson and Tina Gamet, both of Yakima, Mary Hale of Tacoma and Jennifer Thomas of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons, Jimmy Sleutel of Yokohama, Japan, and Jon Thomas of Vancouver; one brother, Aries of Astoria, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He attended Mill Plain United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and travel. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
