Bryan Sr. family bible, there were two daughters named Elizabeth, one born in 1797 and one born in 1817. The bible lists them as Elizabeth Sr. and Elizabeth Jr. It seems extremely likely that Elizabeth Jr. was born shortly after the death of Elizabeth Sr. and was named in her memory. According to Henry family researchers, Hugh Henry Jr. married a daughter of Allen S. Bryan Sr. who may have been named Ann. Hugh Henry's wife died on 6 Dec 1816 while giving birth to Albert Gallatin Henry. The only theory that seems to satisfy these facts is that Elizabeth Bryan Sr. was the wife of Hugh Henry Jr. and that she was known as Ann.
