The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That, Whereas, Chas. A. Peters hath prated and obtained a License to marry Laura Jones. Now, if the said Chas A Peters be an actual resident in the County aforesaid, and there shall not hereafter appear any lawful cause why the said Chas A Peters and Laura Jones should not be jointed together in Holy Matrimony as husband and wife, then this obligation to be void and of no effect; otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Peters, Laura T. -- age 82, died 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital. Residence 2908 Helen Drive. She was a member of Petros Baptist Church. Survivors: daughter Miss Linnie Peters; grandson, C. J. Hulen, Knoxville; sisters Mrs. Minnie Woods, and Mrs. Sadie Jones, LaFallette; Mrs. Lola Eastridge, Coalfield and three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the widow of C. A. Peters, a native of Morgan County. She made her home with her daughter, 2908 Helen Drive. 3 great-grandchildren, John, Tyson, Sherrie Hulen. Services 2 p.m. Saturday and Petros Baptist Church, Rev. Roy Myers, Rev. Don Long, Rev. Bill Edmonds officiating. Interment Estes Cemetery. Pallbearers Ralph Carter, Carroll Cowden, Roy Myers, Bob Vann, Eddie Myers, Nick Fields. The body will be taken to the home Thursday, 2908 Helen Drive where the family will receive friends. Stevens in charge.
