Peters, Annie Jo Hackworth - age 99 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 6:08 p.m. at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, W. B. Peters; brother, Oren Pyatt Hackworth; sisters, Mary Nell Hackworth and Jamie Woodard. Survivors: daughter, Lena Peters Miller and husband Gene of Knoxville; granddaughter and husband, Susan and Thomas Hill of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Eric Green, Eric Hill, LeaAnn Wright; great-great-grandchildren, William, Weston, Jayce; sister, Ruby Crowe of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Saturday in Stevens Chapel with Rev. Sam Woodard officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service and interment.
