He died of Cancer at Fort Sanders Pres byterian Hospital and the funeral service was held at Rose Mortuary on Broadway in Knoxville, Tn. The name of the Cemetery has been changed since his burial. He is buried next to his son Albert Warren Scarborough Jr. who died in 1969. Just below his gravesite is his brother Joseph Glenmore Scarborough and Joseph s first wife, Ruby Clifton. His sister Polly Scarborough Edsell is buried in t he same Cemetery. Albert was elected as an Alderman about 1992 - 1993 in the n ewly formed town of Louisville, Tennessee, where he lived from about 1978 til h is death in 1994.
