Young, Mary Alene -age 92, of Picayune, MS, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Graveside funeral services will beheld Sunday, January 13, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. at New Palestine Cemetery. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Lenoir City, TN, she was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. Alene was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed. She loved to stay in touch with her friends and family. She never forgot anyone in her life. In her earlier years, Alene enjoyed playing bridge and bowling, and she was in the same bowling league with the same women for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Alonzo Jones and Metta Reece Peters Jones; and her brother, Gilbert Guy Jones. Survivors include her daughters, Pam Donaldson, and Vickie Miller and husband, Jeff; five grandchildren, Chris Johnson, Jennifer Hargrove, Buckley Miller, Courtney Stubley, and Shelby Miller; seven great grandchildren, Angel, Jackson, Riley, Callie, Sullivan, Charlotte, and Wilder; and her sister-in-law, Roberta Jones.
