Ellis, Mrs. Eunice Allen - age 75. of Rt. 2, Jefferson City, passed away 4:20 am. Thursday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Jefferson City, after a brief illness. Member of Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors: husband, R.H. (Bob) Ellis; daughters, Mrs. C.J. (Phyllis) Palmer, Washington, D.C., Mrs. Ray (Flora Ruth) Smelcer, Dandridge; son, Robert Ellis; New Market; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. W.O. (Jessie) Horner, Knoxville, Mrs. Frank (Bessie) Sims, Dandridge; sister-in-law Mrs. Tinsley Allen, Sweetwater; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. David Gilliam officiating. Interment church cemetery. The body will be moved to the church 1 hour before the service. Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge, in charge.
