Reba Potts Harrison of Flintstone died Saturday, July 30, in a local health care facility. She was 78. She was a native and lifelong resident of north Georgia and Chattanooga and was retired from First Tennessee Bank after 43 years of service. She had been a member of the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church since 1974. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Turner Harrison, parents, Rev. Amos and Mildred Potts; sister, Martha Elizabeth Gentry. Survivors include her daughter, Wanda (Jim) Blackwell; granddaughter, Emily Meeks; great-grandsons, Scott and Zayne Meeks; sisters, Louise Kean, Gertrude Trotter and Mary Smith; several nieces and nephews. Services: Tuesday, Aug. 2, at noon in the funeral home chapelof Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Price officiating. Burial: Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Wanda Harrison Hagan Blackwell, 57, of Ooltewah, died Monday, July 28, 2008 at her home. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and was retired from Erlanger Medical Center with 25 years of service. She also was a member of Elks Lodge 91 and graduated from Chattanooga High School and Martin College. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Reba Harrison. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Emily and James Meeks, Ooltewah; two grandchildren, Scott Meeks and Zayne Meeks; sister, Deb Pippin, Georgetown, Tenn.; special friends, Pat and Lisa Hagan and Eldon Hyde.
