Kenley, Herbert O. (Bud) - of Talbott, Tenn., formerly of South Knoxville, passed away Friday afternoon, December 21, 2001 at the family home surrounded by his loving family. He was a veteran of the US Army and World War II and was a retired automotive machinist. Survivors: wife of 57 years, Blanche Rimmer Kenley; daughters & sons in law, Rebecca & Clay Strevel of Knoxville, Carolyn & John Schoolcraft of Lenoir City, Cindy & Rick Gatian of Knoxville, Joyce Boone of Tucson, Ariz.; son & daughter in law, Bryan Tonya Kenley of Knoxville; son, Randy Kenley of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Matthew, Ethan and Nicholas Boone; Hailey, Andy & Kristofer Kenley, Cameron, Connor and Carly Gatian, Kim and Jeff Lindsay; 2 great grandsons, Kyle and Cory Lindsay; 2 step grandsons, Scott and Tachsha Schoolcraft, Sean, Kimberly and Ryan Schoolcraft; brothers, Charles Kenley, Jack and wife, Charlotte Kenley; sister, Ruth Hutsell; several nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends Sunday evening 5-7 p.m. and they invite everyone to participate in the celebration of the life of Herbert O. "Bud" Kenley at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home. Strevel, Rebecca Kenley "Becky" - age 55 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Parkwest Hospital as a result of a massive cerebral hemorrhage. She was a 1968 graduate of South High School and was an employee of AT&T (formerly BellSouth) for 30 years. Becky was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves and U.T. Athletics. Preceded in death by father, Herbert “Bud” Kenley. Survivors include: mother, Blanche Kenley; sister, Elizabeth Joyce Kenley; sister, Carolyn and husband, John Schoolcraft; sister, Cindy and husband, Rick Gatian; brother, Randy Kenley; brother, Bryan and wife, Tonya Kenley; special niece, Kimberly Lindsay and family; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Ethan and Nicholas Boone, Cameron, Connor and Carly Gatian, Hailey, Andy and Kristofer Kenley; best friend and soulmate, Clay Strevel and constant companion, Herbie, her Jack Russell Terrier. The family would like to thank the Emergency Room Staff and the Critical Care Staff of Parkwest Hospital and Tennessee Donor Services for their kindness and compassion. Becky’s last selfless act was that of an organ donor. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow at 8:00 pm.
