Moore, Mary Lillian Bridges - age 81, of Karns, went to be with Jesus December 17, 1996, after a short illness. She was a member of Ball Road Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, and was employed by Hall-Tate Manufacturing Company during the early years of her life. For the past 20 years she had been a homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Henry Moore, who died November 12, 1995; father M.L. Bridges, who died in 1962; mother, Della Maude Davis Bridges, who died in 1948; sisters Reben B. Stell, who died in 1992, and Grace B. Moore who died in 1940; brother, Clyde Leo Bridges, who died in 1991; Survived by brothers, James E. Bridges of Morristown, Ind., W. Claude Bridges of Marietta, Ga.; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special neighbors, David and Faye Towe. Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday, Gentry-Griffey Chapel, Rev. Arville J. Crawford and Rev. Paul Wilson officiating. Friends will meet 2 p.m. Saturday at Lynch-Bethel Cemetery for graveside services. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends 9-8 p.m. Friday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
