Grizzle, Virginia Maude - age 80 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday evening at Hillcrest West Nursing Home. A member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, she is preceded in death by: parents, John and Hattie Moore siblings, Pauline Chambers, Mary Wolfe, Ester Moore, James Moore, Henry Moore, Tom Moore and Foch Moore. Survived by: loving husband of 49 years, Tilford Grizzle two loving daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia R. Nipper and Ken, of Knoxville, Harriett G. Hartman and John, of Knoxville brothers, Robert Moore and wife Mabel, and Frank Moore sisters and sisters-in-law, Becky Wilkerson, Ercie Fox, special sister and best friend, Lydia Moore, Ruth Odum Mabel Moore and Lillian Moore special friends brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mac and Glena Grizzle, The Fred O. Scott family, W.G. and Linda Bradshaw, Walter and Melissa Law, Martha and Rachael Law, special neighbor, Pat Reed and many nieces and nephews. Grizzle, Tilford C. (Tip) - age 80, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at Brakebill Nursing Home. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a Master Sergeant in Korea and also in Germany. He retired from Lay's Packing Company and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Grizzle was preceded in death by: his wife, Virginia M. Grizzle parents, William Edward and Hattie Farmer Grizzle sister, Edith Grizzle Parrott brother, Robert Edward Grizzle and grandson, Timothy Grizzle. He is survived by: his loving daughters and their husbands, Virginia and Ken Nipper, Harriet and John Hartman both of Knoxville son and wife, Gary E. and wife Kathye Grizzle of New Market, TN. three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren brother and his wife, William Mack and Glena Grizzle of Knoxville special sister-in-law, Lydia Moore, niece and her husband, Nancy and Harrison Hill of Maryville, TN. special friends, the Fred O. Scott Family, W.G. and Linda Bradshaw, Walter and Melissa Law and Martha and Rachel Law and a special neighbor, Pat Reed, all of Knoxville, TN. and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike. Family and friends will meet at Highland West Memorial Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. Graveside service on Friday, September 16, 2005 with David Matthews officiating.
