Peters, Nell Elizabeth (Libby) Brown - born August 14, 1921, died Friday, February 25, 2000. Member of Central Baptist Church, Bearden, Martha Class, and worked as a bookkeeper off and on for 20 years with Central Baptist Church Bearden. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy C. Peters; parents, Harry Evans and Anna Mae Brown; sister, Eileen Brown Smith. Survived by son, H. Wesley Peters; son and daughter-in-law, R. Cecil and Lu Anne Peters; grandchildren, Lynn Grabeel and husband Matt, Janette Peters Shofner and husband Mike, Todd Peters and wife Diane, Matt Peters, Tanya Peters Hockett and husband Tyler, Erica Peters, Morgan Peters and Kobi Peters, all of Knoxville, Brian Peters and wife Monica of Washington, DC, Kelly Peters of Richmond, Va.; great grandchildren, Kayla Grabeel, Cody Grabeel, Cheyenne Peters, Olivia Peters and Tucker Shofner, all of Knoxville; sister, Louise Crouch of Cleveland; brothers, Harry Brown, Ken Brown, Harold Brown, and Raymond Brown, all of Rockwood and Jack Brown of Calhoun. From her family, "Well done thy good and faithful servant." Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Dr. Henry Chiles, Rev. Al Royer, and Rev. Mack Bingham officiating. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
