Helen E. Beers, 73, widow of Maj. George F. Beers of Jacksonville, died Monday, Feb. 2. Survivors include daughter Kathy Tomasson of Jacksonville; son, Randy Beers of Cabot; daughter Nikki Beers of Scott; three grandchildren; a brother Clinton Peters of Little Rock; a sister Dorothy Colvett of Paris. Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 5, at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home chapel. Interment was at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family request that memorials be made to Arkansas Alliance for Mental Health.
