Albert Gallatin Henry age 33 was the son of Hugh Henry Jr. and Elizabeth Ann (Ann) Bryan. Mary Ann Henry age 28 was the daughter of Samuel Henry and Margaret E. Bryan. Albert and his wife were double first cousins who married. Hugh Henry Jr. was the son of Major Hugh Henry and Mary Long of Sevier County, Tennessee. I'm not descended from any Henrys that I know of, but there were a lot of Bryan/Henry marriages. Hugh Henry Jr. was married four times. His first wife was Elizabeth Ann (Ann) Bryan, daughter of Allen S. Bryan Sr. and Elizabeth Hubbard. Allen S. Bryan Sr. was the son of my sixth great grandparents Thomas Bryan Sr. and Elizabeth. As such, Allen was the brother of my fifth great grandfather Peter Bryan. |

Martha C. Fennell age 9 later married John Bryan Henry. John was the son of Samuel Henry and Margaret E. Bryan, and the grandson of Allen S. Bryan Sr. and Elizabeth Hubbard. Allen was the brother of my fifth great grandfather Peter Bryan. Martha was the daughter of Francis Marion Fennell age 34 and Isabella Isabella Allison age 35. |
