I've been looking at this Riley Wheeler as a candidate to have been the son of Smith Wheeler and Mary (Polly) Cox of Greene County, Tennessee. Smith Wheeler's son Riley was born in 1836 and married Rebecca Garrett. However, I believe that this Riley Wheeler was the son of John A. Wheeler and Millie Frances Mayes. This Riley Wheeler's wife was Rebecca Mayes. |
