William Houston Johnson was the son of James Martin Johnson and Miriam Worthington. Miriam Worthington was born out wedlock, daughter of Brittain Cross and Lettice Tunnell, widow of James Worthington. My interest in this family lies in researching the Cross family of Anderson County, Tennessee, and William Johnson was the grandson of Brittain Cross. I believe that the place of birth information for William Johnson should have been listed as AR GA TN. |

Francis Marion (Frank) Johnson was the son of James Martin Johnson and Miriam Worthington.
