Elizabeth M. Robinson was the widow of Francis Catlett. Francis Catlett was the son of Reuben Catlett and Elizabeth Frigh. Francis's father Reuben Catlett was apparently not my fifth great grandfather Reuben Catlett, but the two Reuben Catletts may have been related. |

George Washington Catlett was the son of Francis Catlett and Elizabeth M. Robinson. There might have been a connection between this Catlett family and my Catlett family of Sevier County, Tennessee. My Catlett family moved to Tennessee from Kentucky, and there are Reuben Catletts in both families. George's wife was Nancy Cole (some researchers list her name as Nancy Green). George's widowed mother was living nearby (previous page of the census). |

Benjamin Catlett was the son of Francis Catlett and Elizabeth Robinson. Benjamin was born about 1806 in Caroline County, Virginia and died in 1877 in Anderson County, Kentucky. His wife was Elizabeth Spears. James L. Catlett son of Richard Catlett was born about about 1836. Richard died in 1837, and I have been looking for James L. Catlett in either the 1840 or the 1850 census. This doesn't look like him. |
