Matilda Catherine (Tilda) Pierce was the daughter of my third great grandfather James E. Pierce and and his third wife Experience (Spriddy) Wells of Greene County, Tennessee. As such, she was the half sister of my second great grandmother Nancy Ann Pierce. Alfred Wilkerson (Alf) Brown was the son of John H. Brown and Sarah Hendrey. This census entry is very nice in that it give a good indication of when the family moved from Tennessee to Missouri.
