We Reuben Cox & James Parker acknowledge our
Selves indebted unto James Turner Esqr Governor of Said
state & his successors in office in the full sum of five
hundred pounds to be void on condition that there
be no just cause to obstruct said Reuben Cox's inter-
marriage with Susy Pajet but if said marriage be in
every respect according to law then the above obliga-
tion to be void or else to remain in full force & virtue.
Given under our hand s and seals this 10th day of Decr,
1805.
