Jane Mitchell was the daughter of Almarian Mitchell and Cynthia Cox. As such, she was the granddaughter of Aaron Cox and Polly Hill. I am pursuing the slim possibility that this Aaron Cox was the brother of (or otherwise related to) my fourth great grandfather Reuben Cox. A bunch of Cox descendants of Aaron Cox were living in the next few houses. Jane's husband was William Burgess Wylie. |

Wiley Cox was the son of William Cox and Delilah Carroll. As such, he was the grandson of Aaron Cox and Polly Hill. Wiley's wife was Mahala Jane (Jane) Cox. I would suspect that she was a cousin of Wiley, but I really don't know who her parents were. |
