I'm reasonably sure that William age 13 was William E. (Bill) Howard who later married Lois Verna (Verna) England. William's parents were Sidney Stanton Howard and Rebecca, and his grandparents were Sampson Jackson (Jack) Howard and Elizabeth Jane (Betty) Whitaker. Verna England was the daughter of James William (William or Wilburn) England and Margaret Jones. As such, Verna was the niece of my second great grandmother Vesta Clay England. |
