I believe that Edwin Farmer was Ed or Eddie Farmer, son of Hugh Farmer and Dora Lilly (Lilly) Messamore of Anderson County, Tennessee, but this is not yet proven. Dora Lilly (Lilly) Messamore was the daughter of James Messamore (Jr.) and Martha Eliza York, and the grandaughter of James Messamore (Sr.) and Sarah (Sary) Heath. The elder James was the brother of my third great grandmother Anna F. Messamore. |
