James Willis Kerley age 9 married Alma Addie Mowery on 18 Oct 1903.  Alma was the daughter of Robert Henry Mowery and Sally Ann Gaut, and the granddaughter of John J. Gaut and Margaret Angeline (Angeline) Bryan.  Angeline was the daughter of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and Nancy Cate.  As such, Angeline was the sister of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan.

James Willis Kerley was the son of James Lewellyn Kerley age 29 and Nancy Jane Meadows age 35.  It appears as if Nancy may have married first a Mr. Brown, and that Leroy Brown may have been the son of Nancy and Mr. Brown.  However, this has not been proven.
