James Willis Kerley age 28 married Alma Addie Mowery on 18 Oct 1903.  James' first wife was Arizona Morrison.  I assume that Arizona Morrison died after the 1900 census and before 1903, but it's also possible that James and Arizona were divorced.  I do not have evidence one way or another.

Alma Addie Mowery was the daughter of Robert Henry Mowery and Sally Ann Gaut.  Sally was the daughter of John J. Gaut and Margaret Angeline (Angeline) Bryan.  Angeline was the daughter of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and Nancy Cate.  As such, Angeline was the sister of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan.

Alma married first Sam Houston (Houston) Arnold in 1898.  Houston Arnold died three months before their son Sam Houston Arnold Sr. was born in 1899.  It really seems more likely that Arizona Morrison died than that she and James Willis Kerley were divorced.  So it seems likely that when James Willis Kerley married Alma Addie Mowery, a widower married a widow.

Robert Henry Mowery age 45 was the son of Louis Alexander Mowery and Mary Jane Hays.  Robert married first Sally Ann Gaut.  Sally died in 1895.  She was the mother of all the children in this census entry except for Mary J. Mowery age 1.  Rindie age 26 was the second wife of Robert Henry Mowery, and was the mother of Mary J. Mowery.  I do not know Rindie's surname.

Sallie Ann Gaut was the daughter of John J. Gaut and Margaret Angeline (Angeline) Bryan.  All the children in this census entry except for Mary J. Mowery were Angeline's grandchildren.

Margaret Angeline (Angeline) Bryan was the daughter of my fourth great grandparents Thomas C. Bryan Sr. and Nancy Cate.  As such, Angeline was the sister of my third great grandfather Peter H. Bryan.
