Louisa Ann Laymance and Virginia Florence Laymance married two Cross brothers.  Louisa married Jacob Benton Cross.  Virginia married Franklin W. (Frank) Cross.  Jacob and Frank were sons of Elijah Cross and Mary (Polly) Winters of Morgan County, Tennessee, and the brothers were grandsons of my fourth great grandfather William Cross the Revolutionary War drummer boy.  As such, the brothers were the nephews of my third great grandfather Alfred Carter Cross.

The parents were Jacob Charleton Laymance and Rutha Douglas.
