Adam Clark Peters Jr. was the son of Rev. Adam Clark (Clark) Peters Sr. and Mary R. Jett. Adam Clark (Clark) Peters Sr. was the son of James Peters and Rachel McCart, and the grandson of Tobias Peters Sr. and Elizabeth Rachel Scarborough. Little is known of Adam Clark Peters Jr. For example, I do not know if he was called Clark as was his father, or if he was called Adam. He died in France in WWI, apparently without having married and without issue. His service in the U.S. Army in the 1900 timeframe suggests that he might have served in the Spanish-American War. In any case, his military service was apparently not continuous between the Spanish-American War and WWI because he was a civilian at the time of the 1910 census. |
